Albert R. "Al" Bonini Sr

Champion – Albert R. “Al” Bonini Sr., 81, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

            He was born May 7, 1936, in Indiana, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Bonini.

            He came to Warren in 1944 and retired from Copperweld Steel Corporation as a crane operator after 35 years. Albert was a classic car enthusiastic.

            He is survived by his children Tim (Sherri) Bonini of Orlando, FL, Jennifer Tustin of Champion, and Monica (David) Foor of Champion, sixteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a brother Joseph (Jackie) Bonini of San Jose, CA, a sister Margaret Filler of Sandusky, and best friend Patty Dean of Champion.

            He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris Bonini, two sons Albert Jr. and Gary Bonini, and a brother John Bonini.

            Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A service will be Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Albert’s name to the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities 45 North Rd. Niles, Ohio 44446.
