I posted an earlier reply, but somehow it didn't stay on this site. So, I wanted to re-post it to the family that I know (Alpha, Venus and Andrea) and all of the family. I met Denise in 1991 and Tim met her in about 1995. Although we were apart in location (we are now in Florida) and I moved away from Warren in 1996, having lived there from 1991-1996, but we always stayed connected. We, of course, learned of her great love for her daughters and grandchildren and family. My favorite things about Denise? She connected and was genuine and authentic I guess is how I would put it. She had a really big heart and when she listened to you, she stepped into your space and listened intently while she watched your eyes. On top of being beautiful, the most beautiful hippie I ever knew, and I am her exact age and have a penchant to leaning in that direction, she shared everything she could. Her laugh was great and her smile was always there. I hope that you look for her in a feather, a butterfly, a dragonfly, a special bird, in the wind and the trees because she will let us know she is still around. It's tragic that she left us way too young, but God has a way of correcting all things and making something good come out of it. My prayers are that you are surrounded by angels and that the peace which passes all understanding carries you through as you begin the process of grief. There are hundreds of people praying for you believe it or not. I am so glad that I met and knew your mother/sister/wife/friend. Peace and love, Peggy

To the family, especially Alpha, Venus and Andrea (those I know): I am ever so grateful for the life of my dear friend. There is no replacing anyone, but this sure leaves a huge hole in the lives of many. When I think of Denise I think of her smiling eyes, hear her laughing, and how she truly connected soul to soul and listened to who she was talking with. Not anything but pure honesty and loving care in her makeup, maybe sometimes too much, but that was Denise. She was the uptime true good expression of a hippie child and was accountable and tenacious. I can't think of any better qualities if I had them made to order in a friend. Denise knows Tim and I loved her and we knew she loved us. So grateful. Prayers for all the family. May you find a feather, a penny, a dragonfly, or bird that connects with you ina special way because Denise would never leave without letting you know she's still here from time to time. My heart is breaking for each one Of you I know you know what a wonderful angel your mom and sister was, Denise gave till she couldn’t give any more , that’s the way she was.,,,, from the moment I met Denise she was caring loving supportive sweet , honest...I can tell you we clicked immediately and be such wonderful friends.. then it turned to so much more.
