Diana J. Belanger

Howland – Diana J. Belanger, 69, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 9, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

            She was born September 16, 1947, in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Eugene and Celestina Caputo.

            She was a 1965 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She retired from the Howland school System as a lunch monitor. She previously worked at Heritage Florist as an office manager. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren and was a Eucharistic minster, she belonged to Warren Emblem Club #397 were she was a past President and currently the Vice President and had been Past State President of Ohio State Emblem Club. She enjoyed bowling and traveling.

            She is survived by her husband Richard “Dick” Belanger whom she married June 11, 1966, two children Jeffrey Belanger, and Gina Dooley both of Howland, two grandchildren Ryan and Sarah Dooley, and her beloved cat “Oliver”.

            She is preceded in death by her parents.

            Family and friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 4:30 Emblem Club Service, and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren with Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating.

            Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.

            In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Diana’s name to the Emblem Club State Project 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
