Joanna D. Walthour

Warren – Joanna D. Walthour, 70, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren.

            She was born November 12, 1946, in Indiana, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Josephine Patrick.

            She was 1964 graduate of Warren St. Mary’s High School and had earned an Associate’s Degree. For the last 23 years she was a Legal Secretary for Harrington, Hoppe and Mitchell Law Firm in downtown Warren. She was an avid cat lover, enjoyed playing the piano, and was very involved in her Church. 

            She is survived by her daughter Heather Walthour of Montoursville, PA, three grandchildren Allison, Marissa and Ellie Mahonski, a brother Joseph Patrick of Champion, two nephews Brian (Cora) Patrick of Casa Grande, AZ, and Michael (Jackie) Patrick of Cortland, and a niece Janessa Patrick of Cortland.

            She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Elizabeth “Beth” Patrick.

            Family and friends may call Friday, August 11, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at St John Paul II Parish (St. Joseph Church) 420 North St. Warren, Ohio.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Christopher Henyk officiating.

            Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joanna’s name to St. John Paul II Parish, 1401 Moncrest Ave. NW, Warren, Ohio 44485.
