My deepest sympathies. Joanna and I were neighbors and met and became friends several years ago in a combined effort of helping the neighborhood stray cats find homes and care. She cared very much for animal welfare. She was a very sweet woman, and she will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Joanna's passing. We sure had a lot of memories over the years & I will always choose to remember the good ones. She was such a great "Big Sister" to Beth and I, giving us the scoop on the "girl" stuff we didn't want to ask our moms. And having Beatles wallpaper! She was so cool and tolerated us. And when we grew into adults, she became an even dearer friend. Always honest and full of faith. And she couldn't wait to tell me about her Heather and grandchildren.My dearest memory of her is how much she loved MY mother. God speed my friend and my sincerest condolences to your family.
