Michael DePascale

Cortland - Michael DePascale, 63, passed away Sunday, July 23 with family by his side, while at Zusman Hospice House in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born on August 23, 1953 in Warren, Ohio son of the late Arthur and Mary DePascale.

Michael was a 1971 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and a 1975 graduate of the University of Cincinnati. Michael retired from the Warren Fire Department in 1996 but over the past several years continued to work with the golf pro shops at Avalon, Squaw Creek, and Yankee Run. He adored his children and grandchildren. He also loved playing cards, golf, traveling out West, sports, and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his children, Aaron (Lupita) DePascale of San Diego, CA, Leah DePascale (Matt) Brandenburg of Cincinnati, Adam DePascale of Cincinnati, and Angela DePascale (Grant) Herrel of Columbus, 8 grandchildren, and sisters Marianne (Richard) Antonelli of Westlake, OH, Virginia “Ginny” Johnston, and his twin sister Michelle (Daniel) Notar both of Warren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, and his brother-in-law, Robert “Rusty” Johnston.

A private service was held at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the nurses, aides, and staff at the Hospice House of the Valley in Poland, Ohio and Zusman Hospice House in Columbus, Ohio.
