Panagiota "Pana" Kakavros

Warren – Panagiota “Pana” Kakavros, 92, passed away Monday, august 21, 2017a at Vista Care at the Ridge.

            She was born September 8, 1924, in Chios, Greece the daughter of the late Pantelis and Kyriki Lagos.

            She came to the Warren in 1967 from Greece. She retired from Warren Rapid Supply Company as a pressor. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking.

            She is survived by her children Fr. Loginos Kakavros of Warren, Paul Kakavros of Austintown, Georgia (Steve) Volisianos of Warren, Cary Kakavros Howland, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a sister Angie Lagos of Tarpin Spring.

            She is preceded in death by her husband Eleftherios “Terry” Kakavros whom she married September 12, 1943 and passed away November 4, 1998, and a daughter Demestini Kakavros.

            Family and friends may call Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A private service will be Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matrona of Chios Hellenic Orthodox Church, with Fr. Loginos Kakavros officiating.

            Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

            In liue of flowers contributions may be made to St. Matrona of Chios Hellenic Orthodox Church 425 Kenilworth Ave. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
