Paul R. Bridgens

Lordstown – Paul R. Bridgens, 67, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 after battling cancer.

            He was born November 15, 1949 in Warren, Ohio the son of Paul V. and Bonnie Bridgens.

            Paul was a 1968 graduate of Lakeview High School. He served in U.S. Navy. Paul retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Lordstown as a Dingman in quality control department after 49 years.  He was an avid golfer, and sports fan he loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed playing the Ohio Lottery.

            Paul is survived by his loving wife Vicki who have been together for 31 years, three children Jeff (Jennifer) Bridgens of Las Vegas, Steven (Julie) Bridgens of Howland and Melissa (Glenn) McClimans of Lordstown, four grandchildren Kai, Kerilyn, Kelsey and Raymond, a brother Gary Bridgens of Warren, a sister Kathy Bridgens of Warren, and his dog “Pooh Bear”.

            He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ronnie Bridgens and a sister Vickie Modispaugh.

            A private Memorial service will be held at a later date.

            Arrangements are being handled by the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
