Wanda R. Yannerella

Warren – Wanda R. Yannerella, 90, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Windsor House in Champion.

            She was born May 21, 1926, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late George and Rosetta McQuisten.

            She was a 1944 graduate of Howland High School. She had worked for Attorney Leopardi as a secretary. Wanda was a former member of St. Pius X Church in Warren and currently a member of St. Mary’s Church in Warren. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

            She is survived by her husband James “Jim” Yannerella whom she married April 17, 1948, her children Charles J. (Wilma) Yannerella of Columbus, Charlotte (Tom) Finnerty of Poland, Kathy (Bob) Horvath of Champion and Carol (Dan) Wilkerson of Warren, a daughter-in-law Alina Yannerella of Dallas, TX, and eleven grandchildren Christine (Brett) Nadalin, Jessica Yannerella, Katie (Robert) Dominguez, Brandon and Sean Yannerella, Megan (Adam) Finnerty Pannone, Jennifer Finnerty, Danielle Wilkerson, James (Danielle) Wilkerson, Nikki (Michael) Sifro and Dr Kerry (Hugh Baker) Horvath, and ten great grandchildren.

            She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Kenneth Yannerella and a son-in-law Thomas A. Finnerty JR.

            Family and friends may call Sunday, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:00 a. m. at St. Mary’s Church in Warren, with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating.

            Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
