Mary S. Craciun

Warren – Mary S. Craciun, 91, of Warren passed away on Wednesday evening, April 10, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren.

Mary was born on April 30, 1932 in Warren, OH, a daughter of Charles and Anna (Fedash) Sirko.

She was a 1950 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, where she was a majorette in the band. Mary went on to become a prominent real estate agent in the Warren area, working and eventually retiring with Howard Hanna after 20 years.

Outside of work, she was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren. Mary also enjoyed bowling, dancing with her husband, John, and traveling. She especially loved reminiscing about her trips to Europe and Las Vegas. Above all, Mary adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished the time she spent with them, and she will be deeply missed.

Mary will always be remembered by her husband of 70 years, John Craciun of Warren; daughter, Shanon (David) Severt of Liberty Twp.; son, Scott (Wanda) Craciun of Bazetta Twp.; grandchildren, Aric (Kirstin) Craciun, Erin Craciun, Joshua Craciun, Christin Craciun (Jimmy) and great grandchildren, Sophie, Isaac, Liam, Emily, Cheyanne, Zaylee and Kayleene

Besides her parents, Mary was preceded by her son, John Charles Craciun and sisters, Fanny Begalla and Katherine Roscoe.

Mary’s family honored her with private services and burial at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s name to Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 180 Belvedere Ave NE, Warren, OH 44483.
