Amy M. Berardo

Strongsville - Amy M. Berardo, 86, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Kemper House of Strongsville, Ohio.

            She was born August 20, 1932, in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of the late William and Leona Hosking.

            She came to Warren in 1954 and was a graduate of Girard High School. She retired from Rossi Insurance Agency as a bookkeeper after 25 years. Amy was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church), the Emblem Club, OCCL Ohio Children Conservation League, and the Trumbull County Insurance Woman. She enjoyed playing cards especially bridge and 500, going to TNT and the Warren Civic Music Association and square dancing.

            She is survived her son Ralph T.(Susan) Berardo of Canton, two daughters Lee Ann (Keith) Bee of Houston, TX, and Nancy (Robert) Antonelli of Strongsville, four grandchildren Valerie, and Stephanie Berardo, Emily and Elyse Antonelli, two brothers Fred Hosking of Girard, and John Walter (Sandy) Hosking of Jal, New Mexico, and a sister Sarah (Thomas) Riley of Tallamage.

            She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph J. Berardo whom she married October 23, 1954 and passed away November 9, 2001, a brother Stanley Hosking and a sister Mary Lou Pavlich.

            Family and friends may call Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 12:00 noon at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church) 2532 Burton St. SE, Warren, Ohio 44484 with Rev. Craig A. McHenry.

            Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Amy’s name to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Restoration Fund) 2532 Burton St. SE, Warren, Ohio 44484.
