Howland – Chloe Rain Gloria Trupa, 9, passed away in a car accident last Monday January 14, 2019 with her father James Gray.
Chloe was born March 16, 2009, in Zamboanga, Philippines.
Chloe was a third grader at Howland H.C. Mines Elementary School. She was a very energetic girl. Chloe loved gymnastic, skating, skiing, swimming, playing piano and dancing. She was an active student of Emeth Gymnastics in Middlefield, Ohio. She was also taking hip-hop and jazz classes in Natalie’s Dance Studio.
Chloe’s mom Maria Gray brought her from the Philippines with many dreams for her. In a short period of time, she was able to speak English and adapt the American way quickly. She was a brilliant girl, and a 4.0 student. She will be sadly missed by her family here in America and her family in the Philippines.
Chloe is survived by her mother Maria Gray of Howland, her grandparents – Tranillo and Jesusa Gloria, Aunt Becky and Uncle Rudy Pekarovic, Uncle Jim and Aunt Kathy Snyder, Aunt Kathleen and Ron Echols.
Her mother Maria would like to thank Howland local Schools for their support. Chloe loved her teachers– Holly Harrington, Karen DeFrancesco, Cindy Baer, the principal Jennifer Stephenson and the superintendent Kevin Spicher. Her Mother is an active member of the Filipino- American Bible Fellowship and FAONEO (Filipino-American of Northeastern Ohio).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions made to the Filipino-American Bible Fellowship Church located at 250 Idaho Road, Youngstown, OH 44515, in behalf of Chloe and her father James.
As suggested by the family, her funeral was private at the Peter Rossi Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
