Howland – Christina “Tina” Condoleon, 84, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Hospice House in Poland.
She was born April 5, 1934, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Harry and Athena Raphtis.
She was a gradute of Warren G. Harding High School. In the late1950’s and early 1960’s, she worked at the Trumbull County Court House in Warren as a clerk. Tina was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and doing word search puzzles. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Tina is survived by her three children John (Tricia) Condoleon of Howland, Harry (Holli) Condoleon of Algona, IA. and Angela (Steve) Zervas of Cortland, ten grandchildren, Kristin, Michael, Kurt, Caitlyn, Michael John, Nicholas, Gabriel and Laney Condoleon, Christopher and Melena Zervas, a brother Thomas (Aliki) Raphtis, a sister-in-law, Peggy Kontos, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael J. “Mike” Condoleon of 49 years whom she married August 18, 1963 and passed away March 27, 2013, and two brothers Gus and James Raphtis.
Family and friends may pay their respects Monday, October 29, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 5:30 p.m. Trisagion service and Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren.
Service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Demetrios Greek Church, 429 High St., Warren, Ohio 44481.
The family would like to thank four very special and caring women that spent their days caring for Tina at her home. Renee, Susan, Peggy, and Natalie. Tina loved you all very much and you truly became a part of her family.
