Christina Rozakis

Warren – Christina Rozakis, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Continuing Health Care in Niles.

            She was born December 25, 1927, in Lemnos, Greece, the daughter of the late Loannis and Sophia Eleftheroudis.

            She had worked at Louis Hot Dog Shop as a cook in Wheeling, WV. Christina was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. She enjoyed flowers and cooking.

            She is survived by her sister Voula Triantafilu of Athens, Greece, three nieces and nephews Sofia Triantafilu of Athens, Greece, Pete (Lynnette), and John (Laurel) Chacalos both of Wheeling, WV, and five great nieces and nephews Evitina Triantafilou, Lexi, Megan, Kelsey and Cal Chacalos.

            She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George Rozakis whom she married May 6, 1973 and passed away September 11, 2016, and a sister Vaitsa Chacalos.

            Family and friends may pay their respects Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Demetriso Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481.

            A service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.

            Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.

            In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Christina’s name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481.
