Herb, Herbie, MaryBeth. Blaine and kids,

Dee was truly larger than life-a definite force to be reckoned with. She had the greatest smile and laugh, she was fun-loving and always up for adventure, going to a garage sale or out to dinner. She was opinionated and stubborn, generous and most of all gracious. She was this dichotomy of personalities all wrapped up in one beautiful person. She was so many things to so many of us, She had amazing friends-Katie always being her beloved partner in crime. She loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. She always shared such precious memories of you. Please remember how much she adored each of you. Take comfort in each memory.
Herb, Dee adored you. She loved you more than life. She was ornery and stubborn and I can still see her crossing her arms and nodding knowing she was right even if she wasn't. She could crack us up laughing in a heartbeat and be serious the next. You never know how much you love a person until they are gone. We love you buddy! ❤️
We love Dee and your family like our own. Our lives forever changed the day Dee went to Heaven. Life will never be the same without her-it will just be different.
So many wonderful memories...so many fun moments-treasure and take comfort in each and every one!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you always and especially as you go through this most difficult time. 🙏😢
Love, Jan and Bob

Dear Herb, Mary Beth & family,
Our deepest and sincere condolences for the loss of your precious wife and mother.
Our hearts ache with yours.

DeeDee was kind, loving woman, friend and sister to many for years...a lifetime. DeeDee was one of mom's many sisters (for being a single child). DeeDee was part of our family, all of us. She has been there for my sister and I and was there for my mom until the end. You will be missed dearly, your love, your smile, your sweet voice, our DeeDee❤

Love,
Lynette, Joe & family

Herb and family, words can't express the sadness that overcame us when we got the news about Dee. She was always happy to have company and ready to go out to dinner and on an adventure! Jamaica Bay won't be the same without her!
