Dr. Robert J. Orr

Warren - Robert J. Orr, 47, passed away, Saturday, March 16, 2019.

            Dr. Robert J. Orr was born July 2, 1971 to Robert and Patricia Orr of Hubbard, Ohio.

            He’s a 1989 graduate of Hubbard High School, and a magma cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in Biology.

            “Bob” as he was known, went on to graduate with his medical degree from NEOUCOM.

            Bob did a residency program with the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine and Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

            He graduated from Case Western University, specializing in Nephrology.

            Bob and his partner, Dr. Dan Barton opened a first if it’s kind facility, The Warren Dialysis Center, in conjunction with the ARA, in 2009.

            He resides in and practiced Nephrology in the Warren, Ohio- area.

            Bob was a car enthusiast who loved the outdoors, including water and snow activities. Bob enjoyed model cars, boats, trains and remote-control cars.

            He leaves behind his wife, Melina Mastromatteo-Orr, and three daughters, Natalie, Olivia and Gabriella, his father, Robert J. (Andrea) Orr of Hubbard, his sister, Dana (Tim) Orr Furst of Florida, nieces Courtney and Audrey Furst, his uncle Richard Smith of Hubbard, and his dogs Milo and the late Hunter.

            Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Orr, grandparents Una McCurdy, William G. Orr, Joseph and Katherine Smith.

            Family and friends may pay their respects Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 9:30 to 12:00 noon at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A Mass of Catholic Burial will be Wednesday, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady Mt. Camel Basilica 345 Via Mount Carmel A, Youngstown, Ohio with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr. officiating.

            A private burial will be in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
