Warren – Harold E. “Harry” Watros, 86, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Shephard of the Valley in Howland.
He was born July 20, 1932, in Bazetta, Ohio, the son of the late Robert and Viola Watros.
He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He retired in 1996 from Packard Electric as a supervisor in the maintenance department after 35 years.
Harold Was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church) in Warren. He enjoyed going to classic car shows and loved to tinker.
Harold served our Country in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his three children Robert Watros of Warren, Joyce (Tim) Totten of Bazetta, David (Andrea) Watros of Pickerington, OH, seven grandchildren Timothy and Jeffrey (Taylor) Totten, Robert, Maggie, Andy, Alex and Matthew Watros and a sister Eva Mae (Jerry) Davis of Warren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Agnes “Aggie” Watros whom he married May 7, 1960, and passed away July 6, 2015, and a brother Raymond Watros.
Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday, January 17, 2019, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Friday, January 18, 2019, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
A service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Harold’s name to Harbor Light Hospice 4531 Belmont Ave. Unit#9, Youngstown, Ohio 44505.
