Howland – Irene P. Miller, 95, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her home.
She was born January 3, 1924, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Pete and Zamberta (Savopoulos) Peristeris.
She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Irene was co-owner with her husband of Paint City Inc. in the Austin Village Plaza on W. Market St. in Warren from 1958 to 1985 and Paint City Inc. in Howland on Old 82 from 1979 to 2009. She was a former member of the Ashtabula Yacht Club and the Warren Olympic Club. She enjoyed boating, cooking, and loved to play solitaire on the computer and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren swim.
She is survived by her two daughters Susan E. (Michael Verich) Miller of Howland, Sally Miller of Cortland, four grandchildren Jennifer (Ryan) Pavlak, Natalie (Adam) Mostoller, twins Sgt. Alex Tryon U.S. Marine Corp, and Chris Tryon, five great grandchildren Vander, Penelope, Carter, Jaxon, and Maddox.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William F. Miller whom she married December 28, 1947, and passed away September 13, 1996, a brother George Paris and three sisters Mary Klos, Angie Rufener, and Polly Suain.
Family and friends may pay their respects Monday June 3, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
A service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Funeral Home with Fr. Kenneth Bachofsky officiating.
Burial will be Hillside Cemetery in Bazetta.
