Howland – Jack R. Gardner, 78, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at his home Saturday, June 16, 2018.
He was born October 29, 1939, in Warren, in the son of the late Jack and Amelia Gardner.
He was a 1957 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He retired from the G.M. in Lordstown as an electrician and committeeman. Jack enjoyed going to car shows, cooking, and especially hanging out with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Gardner of 50 years, two children Jack P. (Kelly) Gardner of Norfolk, VA, and Nicole (Dale) Barzak of Iowa, a daughter-in-law Laura Thompson of South Lake, TX, eight grandchildren., and a brother James R. (Gail his companion) Gardner of Niles,
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Ruth Grigsby.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
