Our sincere condolences to the Pipino family on the passing of James "Doc" Pipino. Doc has been a long-time member of our scholarship organization and was an annual sponsor of the Pipino Family Scholarship in memory of Sam and Mary, his parents. Jim was honored by our organization in 2007 by being named Our Man of the Year, 2007. We will miss his presence at our annual scholarship dinner. He always made attending this dinner as an obligation and being a witness to the student getting the Pipino scholarship. A wonderful man, a great member and an honor to all Italian Americans!

We extend our deepest sympathy to the Pipino family with the passing of Doc. He will always be remembered by our family as an extremely wonderful man who was always so kind and friendly whenever we would see him and his beautiful wife, Patti. We were very fortunate to call him a friend and feel blessed that we know the Pipino family. God have mercy on his soul and welcome him into his eternal kingdom.

Doc was a true gentleman and first class individual. I am honored to have known him and serve with him on the Niles Community Services Board. I learned so much from him that I will carry with me always.

Patty, Jimmy, Mimi, and Sam, I just wanted to say what a great man he was. From the time I was a kid on Andrea to the time I ran into him at the Mt Carmel festival, one of the most pleasant people I've ever met or known. My heart, prayers, and love go out to your family. I thank God for him and your family who have made a lifelong impact on me. Just trust God in this time and know He's with you always!

To the extended Pipino Family,

Please accept my sympathies at the loss of Doc. He was indeed a fine man! Several members of the St. Mary's football team keep in touch and we all agree that those days in 1961, 1962, and 1963 were some of the best times of our lives no matter where we have all gone. Certainly Doc was part of it. May the Good Lord comfort you in the fact he led a good life. Sincerely, CJ
