Janet L. Arnal

Cortland – Janet L. Arnal, 85, passed away on Saturday, September 8, our Mother joined our Father in heaven.

She and her twin sister were born in Vienna on April 30, 1933 to Edwin A. Dray and Louise C. Tidd Dray.

Janet married the love of her life, Marcel (Mark) Arnal and celebrated 62 years of wedded bliss. They enjoyed a blessed life spending their entire married journey at a home they built in Cortland; traveling, camping and celebrating with family and friends. Her love of quilting, cross-stitching, braiding wool rugs and crocheting filled the homes of her children, grandchildren and many friends. Her favorite times were spent with her family; loving them.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Stephen) Motika of Cortland, son, Marcel (Donna) Arnal of Cortland. Grandchildren, Joshua (Kayce) Arnal of Marysville, Jessica (Robbie) Bell of Charlotte, NC, Ashley (Aaron) Motika Roome of Bettendorf, Iowa and Adriana Motika of Akron. Great-grandchildren, Ellie, Emmie & Gage Arnal of Marysville and Baby Boy Motika Roome due in January.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and on April 5, 2018 by her devoted husband.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. Ne, Warren, Ohio 44483.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church 4659 State Rt 46, Cortland, Ohio 44410 with Rev. Carl Kish officiating.
