Jennifer L. Gumont

Champion – Jennifer L. Gumont, 68, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Hospice House in Poland after a two-year battle with cancer.     

She was born May 16, 1949, in Fairmont, W. VA, the daughter of the late George and Adrian Gumont.

She was a 1967 graduate of Champion High School. She retired from Packard as an assembler after 30 years. She also worked for Trumbull County as a substitute Aid for Fairhaven Work Shops for four years.  She was a member and a Deacon at All Saints Community Church in Warren. She enjoyed traveling especially to the woodward cruise in Detroit, MI., and golfing.

She is survived by her brother Steven Gumont of Champion, six nephews Benjamin (Andrea) Gumont, Adam and Zachary Gumont, Jacob, Jeffrey and Austin Cline, four great nieces Allie, Emma, Daylan, and Jossie, and one great nephew Lincoln.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and a son Chad Michael Zayac.     

Her body was donated to NEOCOM Medical School in Rootstown, Ohio. for Research.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
