Warren – Joanne Hatosky, 78, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at St. Joseph Health Center.
She was born May 28, 1940, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Beresik.
She was a 1958 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She previously worked as a secretary for the Ohio State Carpenters Union, Heltzel Steel and retired from the Trumbull Corrections Institute. Joanne was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren.
She enjoyed golfing, tennis, racquetball, cooking, reading and was a bird enthusiast.
She is survived by her children Renee Rein of Charlotte, NC, Greg Hatosky of Columbus, Jill (Colin) McBane of Warren, and Karen Risley of Peachtree City, GA, five grandchildren Max and Nathan Rein, Ella and Kate Risley, and Evan McBane, three brothers David Beresik, Douglas and Richard Hovanic, and a sister Canice Barnett.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond “Ray” Hatosky whom she married November 10, 1962 and passed away October 8, 2010, and her step father Raymond Hovanic.
Family and friends may pay their respects Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
A service will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Haladej officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joanne’s name to Blessed Sacrament Church 3020 Reeves Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
