Kay was the fifth child of eight born to Charles and Mary. Kay was a 1942 graduate of New Castle High School. She was a devout Catholic and her strong faith had a very positive influence on her family and friends.

She met the love of her life, William “Bill” O’Leary, at a Valentine’s Day dance at St. Mary’s hall in New Castle, PA in 1946. She loved to play her video poker machines where her Irish luck came in handy! She also worked in a Hallmark store in Vegas where she again loved helping people. In 2009, they moved to Ohio where they spent their remaining years. The couple was always surrounded by loving family. Kay was an amazing wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma.
