Hartford – Marguarite “Maggi” Dourm, 56, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born June 29, 1962, in Minerva, Ohio, the daughter of Paul and Joan Dourm.
She was a graduate of Lordstown High School, and received a Bachelor’s Degree of Science from Kent State University and a Master’s Degree of Arts, in counseling & human development from Malone University. Presently she was an Adolescent Sex offender program coordinator, Licensed Clinical Counselor for the Trumbull County Family Court for the last ten years. She was responsible for the certification of the Trumbull County juvenile Court for the ASO Program.
Previously she was a counselor for Corrections Corporation of America and Trumbull Correctional Institute. Maggi was a member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church in Warren. She was a transporter for dog rescue, and was an avid reader. She enjoyed hiking, camping, golfing and was a huge W. VA, Mountaineer fan.
She is survived by her husband James M. Tsamparlis whom she married February 6, 1999, a son Burkley Betz of Boardman, her father and stepmother Paul (Millie) Dourm of Mineral Ridge, three brothers Paul (Tam) Glunt of Huntingtin Beach, CA, David Glunt of Memphis Tennessee, and Chris Dourm of Mineral Ridge, a sister Anna Dourm of Mineral Ridge, a sister-in-law Babette (John) Plake of Girard, a nephew Matthew Baji of Girard, and two step brothers Tom and Gary McCeary of Mineral Ridge.
She is preceded in death by her mother Joan Dourm.
Family and friends may pay their respects Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483 and Monday, February 11, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Christ Memorial Baptist Church 2711 Youngstown Rd. SE, Warren, Ohio 44484.
A service will be Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Church with Pastor Dave Luther officiating.
Burial will be in Lordstown Twp. Cemetery.
