Mary Virginia Fulmer

Powell, Ohio – Virginia “Ginny” Fulmer. 91, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and dear friend, passed away peacefully at her home January 20, 2018.

            Ginny was born May 29, 1926, in Niles, Ohio, the youngest of the late Miles and Nellie Cassidy.

            She had many cherished memories growing up with her two sisters and five brothers. Family was always most important to Ginny. She was happily married to Dick Fulmer for nearly 60 years and blessed with four children. She dedicated herself to raising her children and making a loving home. She found the greatest pleasure spending time with her three wonderful grandchildren, Ryan, Tommy and Lyndsey. Ginny also had the gift of Olivia and Miles her great grandchildren. She was an excellent cook, decorator and seamstress. Ginny and Dick loved dancing and playing bridge with their lifelong Warren friends. She was very proud of her 29 years delivering Mobile Meals and her hole in one playing golf. She spent many winters in Florida, walking the beach, watching sunsets and playing dominoes with her dear friends in Naples.

            Ginny is survived by her loving children, Rick (Priscilla) Fulmer, Lin Fulmer, Debbie (Tom) Kleven, and Denny (Sherry) Fulmer, three grandchildren Ryan (Evrim) Fulmer, Tommy and Lyndsey Kleven, two great grandchildren Olivia and Miles Fulmer and many nieces and nephews.

            Family and friends may call Monday, February 5, 2018 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church 3020 Reeves Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating.

            Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
