Mary "Marie" Gombos Johnson

Champion – Mary “Marie” Gombos Johnson, 90, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at her residence.

            She was born November 16, 1928, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Gaetano and Cecilia Fabrizio.

            She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She retired in 1990 from Packard Electric as a harness assembler after fifteen years. Mary was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Warren. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards and bowling.

            She is survived by her children Michael Gombos of Niles, Paul Gombos of Warren and Lynda (William) Johnson of Champion eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

            She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale Johnson who passed away November 11, 2011, a daughter, two brothers Ralph, and Guy “Giggs” Fabrizio, and two sisters Josephine Canzonetta, and Nellie Golon.

            As per her wishes there will be no service a future celebration of her life will be celebrated at a later date.
