Niles – Mary M. James, 72, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at St. Joseph Health Care.
She was born May 5, 1946, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Richard and Jeanette Carr.
She was a 1964 graduate of Leavittsburg High School. She retired from Ajax Tocco as the office manager after 20 years. Mary was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, the Red Hats and volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital. She enjoyed traveling and her family and friends.
Mary is survived by her son Jeffrey (Debbie) James of West Farmington, seven grandchildren Allison (Woody) Skiba of Austin, TX, Megan James of Akron, Michael James of Girard, Zachary (Shelly) Fusselman of Dayton, Tyler (Nikki) Fusselman of Warren, Dennis Ayers of Niles, and Stacey Ayers of New Castle, PA, six great grandchildren, and three brothers Robert (Ann) Carr of Fowler, Richard (Linda) Carr of Leavittsburg, and Chris (Swotha) Carr of Atlanta, GA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William James Jr, whom she married November, 1964 and passed away November 14, 1988, and a sister.
Family and friends may pay their respects Monday, March 18, 2019 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
A service will be Monday at 11:30 at the Funeral Home with Fr. Simeon B. Sibenik officting.
Burial will be in Sager Memorial Cemetery.
