Nancy L. Kinnavy

Howland – Nancy L. Kinnavy, 83, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side.

            She was born November 2, 1934, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Al and Therese Cieslak.

            She was a 1956 graduate of Mundelein College which is now Loyola University in Chicago with Bachelor’s Degree in Physics. She came to Warren in 1966. Nancy was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren. She enjoyed decorative painting and traveling. She has visited all seven continents.

            Nancy is survived by her husband Martin “Marty” Kinnavy whom she married September 1, 1956, four children, Daniel (Daiva) Kinnavy of Chicago, IL, Katherine Kinnavy of Salisbury, NC, Martin (Patty) Kinnavy of Matthews, NC, Noreen Kinnavy of Fairfax, VA, four grandchildren; Marty (Megan), Katy, Andrew, and Connor, a great granddaughter Fiona, a sister Joan (John) Artinghelli of Chicago, IL, and a sister-in-law Dorothy Unger of Chicago, IL.

            She is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Nancy Kinnavy.

            Family and friends may call Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon          at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3020 Reeves Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the calling at 12:00 noon in the Church with Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating.

            Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta Twp.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to the Catholic Relief Services, 228 W. Lexington St. Baltimore, Maryland 21201 or the web site www.crs.org.
