Warren – Rose A. Barrett, 85, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland with her family by her side.
She was born April 6, 1933, in Heilwood, PA. the daughter of Glardo and Mary Marcenzo.
She attended Heilwood High School in Pennsylvania. She had worked at Van Husain shirt factory in Pennsylvania. Rose was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived for her family. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Warren. Rose enjoyed cooking, shopping and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Rose is survived by her caregiver and Husband of 62 years Charles J. Barrett Sr. whom she married on June 30, 1956, two children Bernadette (Dennis) Luoma of Meadville, PA, and Vincent A. (Donna) Barrett of Cortland, four grandchildren Nicole Luoma, Dominic Barrett, Chaz Barrett, and Eric Barrett, and three brothers John (Lois) Marcenzo, Henry (Mary) Marcenzo and Charles Marcenzo all of Pennsylvania.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Charles J. “Chuck” Barrett Jr, a granddaughter Amber Denise Barrett, three brothers Angelo, Joe, and Eatro, and three sisters Flora, Margie, and Theresa.
Family and friends may pay their respects Friday, November 9, 2018 from 4:00 to 6;00 p.m. and Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Warren, with Rev. Frantisek Katrinak officiating.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made on Rose’s name to St. Mary’s Church Restoration Fund 232 Seneca St. NE, Warren, Ohio 44481.
