Steve J. Aivazis

Warren - Steve J. Aivazis, 60, passed away unexpectedly in his home. He was born July 16,1957 in Warren Ohio.

As a life long resident of Warren Ohio, Steve graduated from Warren G. Harding and from Youngstown State University where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. He worked for many years as an accountant and was most recently employed by Delphi. Steve loved his family and their rich Greek heritage, traveling, his church, and was an avid sports fan. But more than anything Steve’s passion was music. It was such a huge part of his life. For over forty years Steve was a Professional Drummer, he played and sang with Greek bands all over the country. He was a phenomenal musician and enjoyed entertaining people. Music and playing defined who he was and how he will be remembered.

Left to cherish his memories is his beloved family. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Patricia “Tish” Aivazis, and three children; his son Jonathan (Sarah) Aivazis of Nashville; two daughters Kristina (Justin) Bendel of Pittsburgh, Stacie Liadis of Warren; three grandchildren Molly, Abby, Elias, and his puppy Hoppy. A sister Jill (John) Vrontos, two brothers Michael (Kitsa) Aivazis, Gus (Cindy) Aivazis, and a brother-in-law Steve Kalogerou all of Howland.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret Aivazis, and a sister Becky Kalogerou

Family and friends may call Thursday January 25, 2018, from 2-4 and from 6-8 at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road NE Warren, OH 44483 and Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481.

A Service will be at 11 am Friday at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with the Rev. Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Steve’s name to St. Demetrios’ New Building Fund, 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481 or to the Animal Welfare League 812 Youngstown Kingsville rd. SE, Vienna, Ohio 44473.

Burial will be in Howland Twp. Cemetery.
