Leavittsburg – Steven “Pap” Snyder, 76, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Windsor House in Champion.
He was born January 19, 1943, in Weston, W. VA. The son of the late Jessie and Bernie Snyder.
He retired in 2001 after 35 years from the GM Fab Plant in Lordstown and was in the tool and die department. He also used to sell his own produce and started a greenhouse. Steven was a volunteer EMT for Braceville Fire Department after his retirement, and was very active in his Church family.
Steven is survived by his wife Glenda Snyder whom he married March 21, 1964, two daughters Lydia Evelsizer of Leavittsburg, and Sandy Eiben of Erlanger, KY, four grandchildren Tara Eastman, Allison Shay, and Kayla and Joshua Eiben, four great grandchildren Bryce, Brenna, Andrew and Maddison, and three brothers Martin Snyder, and John Snyder both of W. VA, and Tom (Nikkie) Snyder of TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson Richie Eastman.
Family and friends may pay their respects Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
A service will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Bill McCartney and Pastor Mike Shiery officting.
Burial will be in Braceville Twp. Cemetery.
