Alex Lepro Jr.

WARREN - Alexander Lepro Jr., 77, passed away on August 24, 2026, at University Hospital Portage.

Alexander, affectionately known as Alex, Papa, Butch and Al, was born on March 12, 1949, in Warren, the son of Alexander and Mary Lutz Lepro Sr.

A graduate of Levittsburg High School, Alex built a long and dedicated career, working for more than 30 years at General Motors until his retirement. He also shared many years working alongside his wife as a professional photographer, a partnership that reflected both his creativity and his devotion to family life.

Alex was a man of many interests and gifts. He was a talented musician who loved playing the guitar, and he also held a pilot’s license, an accomplishment that spoke to his sense of adventure and curiosity. He loved traveling, especially trips to the beach, and took great pleasure in parties, good food, and wine. Above all, he loved his family and the many friends he considered family, and he will be remembered for the warmth he brought to those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jacquelyn Lepro, whom he married July 14, 1996; his son, Paul (Jessica) Cunningham of Cortland; and his grandchildren, Aya, Brandt, and Cai.

Alex was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Aisling Stillings.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m.
