Warren -  Anastasios "Tom" Gianoutsos, 78, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic.

He was born October 6, 1938, in Kalamos, Greece, the son of the late John and Eleni Gianoutsos.

He came to Warren in 1966. He retired from Warren City Schools as a custodian at Warren G. Harding High School after 20 years and had previously worked at Van Huffel Tube. Tom was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. He enjoyed traveling especially to Greece, gardening and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife Diamanto "Diane" Gianoutsos who he married August 18, 1974, a daughter JoAnna Gianoutsos at home, two grandchildren Michael and Layla, a brother Michael Gianoutsos of Warren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Eleni Gianoutsos, three brothers Jerry, Chris and Pete Gianoutsos, and two sisters Maria Barboutsis, and Toula Niforos.

Family and friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481.

A service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.

Arrangements are being handled by the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren.
