Andrew J. Petrick Jr., 79, of Warren, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2014 in Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Petrick was born on December 12, 1934 in Leavittsbug, Ohio the son of the late Andrew J. and Natalie (Lyzwa) Petrick Sr. and was a January 1953 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

A graduate of Trumbull Vocational School, Mr. Petrick retired in 1993 from American Welding where he was an electrical technician for 40 years.

A veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Petrick served his country after the Korean War with the Company D 728th Military Police Birgade. He received the Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged on July 23, 1957.

Mr. Petrick was a longtime member of St. John Paul II Parish in Warren.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years the former Donna J. Kramer, whom he married on May 3, 1958; a son Stephen A. Petrick of Akron and three sisters Violet Cooper of Champion, Dorothy (Ralie) Bennett of Florida and Betty Hernandez of Mineral Ridge.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services.

Inurnment will take place in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland at a later date.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be offered in Mr. Petrick's name to an organization of the donor's choice or a Mass may be offered in his name at a church of the donor's choice.
