Warren - Angelina M. Principi, 102, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 5, 2015, at her residence. She was born January 21, 1913 in Vieste (Foggia), Italy, the daughter of the late Saverio and Maria Antonia (Vescera) Vescera. At the age of two, her father perished in an earthquake in 1915 in Italy. In April, 1935, she was united in marriage with Valentino Principi, who passed away in 1985. The family name was Prencipe She immigrated with her husband to the United States and to Warren in May 1936. She was a self-employed seamstress/dressmaker for over 60 years, working out of her home. She cherished the many friendships that she made with her sewing customers. With the help of her son, Angelina was able to pursue a daily routine of cooking, baking and housework. She was a member of St. John Paul II Parish (St. Pius X / St. Joseph Church). Angelina is survived by two sons Reno, with whom she made her home and Gene (Anita) Principi both of Warren, two granddaughters Janine (Mark) Mazzi, and Kristine (David) Preston, and four great grandchildren, Morgan and Matthew Preston and Katherine and Rachel Mazzi. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Saverina Fabrizio and Lucia Frascolla and four brothers Matteo, Lorenzo, Oronzo and Francesco and two infant siblings. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. John Paul II Parish (St. Joseph Church) 420 North St. NW, Warren, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Christopher Henyk officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be in Angelina's name to St. John Paul II Parish 420 North St. NW, Warren, Ohio 44483.
