Obituary

Ann M. Prentice, 76, of Warren, entered into eternal life peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 3:05 p.m. in the Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Health St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.

Ann was born on May 11, 1940 in Warren, the daughter of the late Frank and Julia E. (Pollock) Ignatz and was a lifetime area resident.

Ann started working as a custodian for the Trumbull County Engineer's Office and worked her way to secretary and worked for more than 30 years for the county before retiring in October of 2012.  Her life was her work.  She enjoyed taking bus trips with friends to Mountaineer Casino, reading, cooking and baking.

Ann will be sadly missed by her three children Kenneth Michael (Debbie) Prentice of Saraland, Al, Sharon Ann (Michael) Prentice of Grove City, Ohio and Maria Lynn (Robert) Halavick of Vienna; five grandchildren Jason Obradovich, Alicia Prentice and Tyler, Natalie and Ryan Halavick; three great grandchildren; a sister Mildred (George) Halko of Pompano Beach, Fl; and her extended family whom she was very close to.

Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by a son David Prentice; sisters Irene Kassan, Bertha Evenoff, Margaret Lacusky and Ethel R. Hawkins and a brother Michael Ignatz

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home.

A Divine Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with V. Rev. Fr. Simeon B. Sibenik officiating in SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 9:20 a.m. in the funeral home prior in leaving for the church.

Burial will take place in Champion Township Cemetery.
