Warren - There will be a funeral service held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Carpatho- Russian Orthodox Church with Fr. Kenneth Bachofsky officiating for Anna "Ann" (Hopko) Arambasick, 95, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Ann will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her smile and loving personality She was born October 5, 1919, in Neffs, Ohio the daughter of the late Peter and Maria Csori Hopko. Ann retired from Trumbull Memorial Hospital as a menu clerk along with being a proud homemaker. She was an active member of St. Nicholas Carpatho- Russian Orthodox Church, its Altar Society and the Kitchen crew and also was a member of the Trumbull Memorial Hospital Retires Club. Ann had many enjoyments throughout her lifetime, but she especially enjoyed cooking, reading, crocheting, doing word search puzzles and traveling with her husband. Her husband, Guy M. Arambasick whom she married May 18, 1946 died August 17, 2008. She leaves behind to cherish her precious memories her three children Nicholas (Linda) Arambasick of Danville, KY, Becky (James E.) Lynch of Diamond, OH and Susan (Tom) Prezioso of El Paso, TX, five grandchildren Marisa (Greg) Opalka, Amanda, and Sarah Prezioso, and Justin (Shay) Arambasick and Katie (Bill) Newbould, three great grandchildren Wesley, Luke and Travis, and a sister Regina Hopko of Warren. Besides her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by five brothers Paul, Peter, Michael, Alexander and Albert Hopko and five sisters Veronica Lahendro, Mary Zigler, Mary Hopko, Betty Sekerak and Bertha Hopko. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, OH and Wednesday from 10:30 to 10:55 a.m. at St. Nicholas Carpatho- Russian Orthodox Church 2053 North Rd. NE, Warren, OH. Burial will take place at Pineview Memorial Park Warren, Ohio. In lieu of flowers material contributions may be made in Ann's name to Hospice of The Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, Ohio 44512. On behalf of Ann's family, they would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Amanda, Bev, Rachael, Jolene, Bettianne and Veronica for all the excellent care and compassion that was shown to Ann during her illness.
