Warren - Anna H. Pack, 99, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Just Like Home. She was born February 24, 1914 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Martin and Kathryn Krempasky. Anna moved to the Howland area in 1947 when Ann and her husband operated Pack's Risher Dairy, a grocery -gas station and curb service Restaurant at Howland Corners. In 1957 they built a new store and eatery located on the corner of Howland Wilson Rd. and E. Market St. in Howland in which they operated until the early 1970's. Anna was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, St. Vincent de Paul and been in the Altar and Rosary Society for over 60 years. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed reading, especially novels, crossword puzzles, traveling, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She was a great cook and baker especially her Slovak Pastries. She prepared Sunday dinners and played scrabble into her 90's. She is survived by her two sons Donald Pack of Cortland, and David A. Pack of Howland, five grandchildren Heidi Hall, Melissa Pack, Kristin (Brian) Pishotti, Nicole (Andrew) Slabaugh and Alyson Reed, four great grandchildren Mario and Mia Pishotti, Alex Hall, Drew Slabaugh, and a Daughter-in-law Willi Andersen of Nashville, TN.,. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William V. "Bill" Pack whom she married June 4, 1935 and passed away September 20, 2005, a son Raymond Pack, two brothers Martin and Steve Krempasky and two sisters Julia Mraz and Kathryn Mraz. Family and friends may call Friday from 4 :00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483 and Saturday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, Ohio. The family would like to thank Just Like Home for the Care that they gave Anna for past two years.
