Obituary

Annabel O'Brien, 74, of Warren, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 4:20 p.m. in the Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Health St. Joseph Health Care Center in Warren.

Annabel was born in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania on September 18, 1942 the daughter of the late George A. and Alice M. Witkowski Sable and was a lifelong area resident.

Annabel was a 1960 graduate of St. Mary's High School and attended Akron University School of Nursing.

She work for the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office as a secretary in the detective's office for 17 years retiring in 1994.

Annabel was an active member of St. John Paul II Parish in Warren, where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society.  Annabel was also church secretary and bookkeeper for last 7 years.  She was also church secretary and bookkeeper for 8 years at the former Christ Our King Catholic Church under the leadership of Fr. James P. Walker.

Annabel enjoyed doing crafts, especially painting.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her two children Leann O'Brien of Warren and John (Nicole) O'Brien of Cortland; a brother George V. (Joyce) Sabol of Aztec, NM; a brother-in-law George Hall of Niles and two grandchildren McKenzie L. and Alex J. O'Brien.

Besides her parents, Annabel was preceded in death by her sister Susan Hall.

Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Sinchak & Kaszowski Funeral Home, where closing prayers will be recited at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday prior in leaving for the church.

A Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. Christopher Henyk officiating, will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in St. John Paul II Parish, 420 North Street NW, Warren, Ohio 44483.  Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Annabel's name to St. John Paul II Capital Campaign Fund, 1401 Moncrest Dr NW, Warren, Ohio 44485.
