He attended Warren G. Harding High School before being drafted into the United States Navy. During his time of service, Tony was stationed on the U.S.S. Yorktown and was awarded an honorable discharge. Upon returning home, Tony worked for Republic Steel for many years, until his retirement.

Outside of work, golf was Tony's passion. In his lifetime, he made a hole-in-one three times and was a regular at Cranberry Hills Course in Champion. He also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, Cavs and Browns. Tony liked to stay well informed and was always learning new things. He would always ask those in the room to look up answers to questions on google. Tony was a well-dressed man and enjoyed listening to jazz music. He was also the number one fan of his brother-in-law's band, the Paul Trina Band. Most of all, family was everything to Tony. Whether it was talking on the phone or sharing their set weekly lunch, Tony cherished his family and close friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
