Obituary

Warren - Antoinette "Toni" Mancino, 81, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born December 22, 1934, in Hooversville, PA, the daughter of the late James R. and Frances Carbone. Toni moved to Warren in 1936. Toni graduated as valedictorian from Warren G. Harding High School in January, 1953. She previously worked as a bookkeeper at Allen's Bakery, Thompson Heating and Cooling, and Eastgate Pharmacy. Her most recent position was with Plumbers & Pipefitters Local #225 as Office Manager where she retired after 22 years. Toni belonged to Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren. She worked bingo at the church with her husband. Growing up she enjoyed roller skating. Toni enjoyed many years of bowling in leagues, both with her husband and with friends. She belonged to Niles Scope. Toni enjoyed frequenting casinos, playing cards, going to bingo, and solving challenging crossword puzzles. She is survived by her children, Phillip J. "P.J." Mancino of Beachwood, and Brenda (Joe) Tripodi of Niles; a granddaughter, Anna; a brother Lewis F. Carbone of Niles; and two sisters, Agnes Heard of Warren, and Carmella Cerimele of Howland. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony "A.J." Mancino, whom she married September 25, 1954, and passed away November 14, 1991; a daughter-in-law, Deanna Mancino; a brother, James Carbone; and two sisters, Isabelle Mundo and Josephine Ramos. The family would like to thank the many special caregivers from Shepherd of the Valley (Howland) and Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Family and friends may call Sunday, May 15, 2016, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and Monday, May 16, 2016, from 10:00 to 10:30 am at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road, NE, Warren, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church with Reverend Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations in Toni's honor be made to Easter Seals, 299 Edwards Street, Youngstown, Ohio, 44502, or to Close to Home Animal Rescue (cthar) at P.O Box 1061, Mentor, Ohio 44061.
