Warren - Barbara "Barb" Halas Reese, 76 passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at St. Joseph Health Center. She was born on June 11, 1939, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Halas. She was a 1957 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and a graduate of Lake Erie College with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Kent State University. She retired from Warren Job & Family Services as a supervisor. She enjoyed gardening, animals and all sports. She was an avid Cleveland and the Ohio State fan, and volunteer at St. Joseph Health Center. She is survived by her son Greg Reese of Greenville, SC, granddaughter Jen Reese of Cortland, a sister Diane Nisbett of Howland, a nephew Dennis (Bette) Nisbett of Cortland, and two nieces Mary Beth (James) Brutz of Howland and Denise (Tim) Riley of London, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends may call Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio.
