WARREN - Barbara E. Rumancik, 98, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Community Skilled Health Care Center.

Barbara was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Anna Yacub Palonder.

She retired from Ohio Fast Freight Co.

Barbara was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and the Fifty Plus Club of the church. She enjoyed crocheting, word puzzles and traveling.

Barbara's husband, Steve J. Rumancik, whom she married Sept. 25, 1939, passed away April 1, 1967.

Barbara leaves a son, William E. Rumancik of Arkansas; two daughters, Pamela A. Rumancik of Warren and Patricia A. Tate of Warren; one brother, Victor Palonder of Florida; three sisters, Emma Jo Kessman of Ohio, Margaret Hoffman of Ohio and Dorothy Tomajko of Ohio; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

The family gives special thanks to the staff at Community Skilled Health Care Center.

There are no calling hours.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.

Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery.
