Howland - Bette L. Frenchko, 78, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born December 4, 1937, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Alex and Barbara Phillips. She was a 1955 graduate of Warren Harding High School and the Airline School in Chicago. She retired in 1995 from Security Dollar Bank in Niles and also worked at Sears. Bette was a member of St. John's Orthodox Church in Warren, Sisterhood, and Book Club. She enjoyed reading, knitting, traveling, music, crossword puzzles, casinos, and sitting on her front porch. What she enjoyed most was cooking, and spending time attending sporting events with her husband, children and grandchildren. Bette is survived by her husband, partner for life, William Frenchko whom she married May 7, 1960, three daughters Anna Duchene, Melissa (Jeffrey) Wallace, Kiersten Deemer, five grandchildren Jessica, Savannah, Jackson, Garrett, and Makenna, a brother Alexander (Winnie) Phillips, and a sister Barbara Giovannone. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Mary Katherine, sister Dorothy and a son-in-law Chris Deemer. Family and friends may call Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Panikhida (Memorial Service) at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483 and Friday from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 2220 Reeves Rd. Warren, Ohio 44483. Service following at 10:00 a.m. with Fr.
