Warren - Betty I. Camarata, 84, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born September 5, 1930 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Louis G. and Angeline Cappella. She was a 1949 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Betty retired in 1994 from Warren General Hospital as a clerk in the central supply department after 10 years. She had previously worked at A&P Grocery Stores. Betty was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church) and the Altar and Rosary Society and was a volunteer at the JFK Band Boosters. She enjoyed her family, playing cards, crafts, ceramics, baking and bingo. She is survived by her husband Peter J. Camarata, Jr. whom she married May 16, 1953, a daughter Catherine "Cathy' J. (Thomas) Leenheer of Warren, one son Peter J. "PJ" (Debbie) Camarata III of South Lyon, MI, four grandchildren Peter IV "Chip", Stephen R. (Bekah) Camarata, Kristen R. (Grant) Burcham, and Clay (Erin) McVay, three great grandchildren Cooper, Sawyer and Reagan, a brother Frank Cappella of Girard and four sisters Mary Ann Nuzzi of Warren, Dolores Parise of Niles, Jean Victor of Warren and Diane (Dominic) Marchese of Johnson, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Catherine Gilbert and Dorothy Cappella. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church) with Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Entombment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Betty's name to the Camillus in care of Trumbull Memorial Hospital 1350 E Market St. Warren, Ohio 44482 or to the St. Vincent DePaul Society P.O.
