Warren - Calogero "Carlo" Maggio, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at his residence. Carlo was born May 8, 1931 in Tunis, Tunisia the son of Vito and Jacqueline Maggio. He came to the U.S. in 1956 from Italy and had worked in construction and retired as a brick layer. Carlo was a member of St. Mary's Church and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his two children Jacqueline (John) Roskos of Cortland and Vito (Joy) Maggio of Warren, five grandchildren Joshua, John and Carlo Stano, Maria and Angelica Maggio, two great grandchildren Jacob and Nathan Stano, four brothers Antonio, Joseph, Armando and Vincenzo Maggio and two sisters Frances Maggio of New Mexico and Adele (Charles) Kis of Warren and a aunt Rosetta Alagna of Corsica, Italy. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Maria Maggio whom he married December 28, 1954 and passed away March 5, 2012 and a brother Benito Maggio. Family and friends may call Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Warren, Ohio.
