Howland - Carmella Flaminio, 84, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born August 10, 1931 in Silvi Marina, Italy, the daughter of the late Domenico and Anna Orsini. She came to Warren in 1948. Carmella was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church in Warren). She enjoyed gardening, her family and her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Frank (Helen) Flaminio of Warren, Joann Pennachio of Warren, Don Flaminio of Howland and Tina Kiepper of Howland, nine grandchildren John, Marco, Erica, Dante, Gino, Shawnna, Alan, Alexis and Olivia, two great gradsons Caleb and Brandon, and a sister Norma "Auntie" Orsini of Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John M. Flaminio who she married September 29, 1951 and passed away May 26, 2013, and a grandson Don Flaminio Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial for family and friends will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (St. James Church in Warren) with Rev. John R. Lody officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
