Carmella Naturale, born 10/17/1913 in Ravenna, Ohio to Michael and Dorothea Giorgio Naturale, passed away on 1/23/15 in Vista, CA at the age of 101. She leaves her three children, Michael (Jacqueline) Mijic of Canton, Ohio, Carol (James) Annibella of Westminster, Colorado, and Dorothea (Gerald) Flanigan of Vista, CA, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents and stepfather, Joseph DiCola, five sisters, Josephine Senerchia, Grace Miamone, Edith Giorgio, Julia Ruggieri, Blanche Trocchio, one brother, Joseph Naturale and her husband of many years, Joe Mijic. Carmella was a cosmetologist in her own shop in Warren, Ohio, an exceptional tailoress, a self taught master gardner and artist who delighted in sharing her creative talents with family and friends. She wanted all the children to take piano lessons and was an avid proponent of education. She will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by her family. A memorial service on May 16, Saturday at 1 PM at "Abruzzi's 422" restaurant Will be held in Warren, Ohio where family and friends may share special memories followed by lunch. Private interment at Brownwood Cemetery in N. Bloomfield, Ohio. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her memory. She particularly favored helping animals.
