Warren - Celeste Caniglia, 90, of Warren passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. Celeste was born June 1, 1923 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of Michael A. and Elodia Campana. She was a 1941 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended Trumbull College. Celeste retired in 1983 after 20 years from Ajax Magnathermic as a secretary in the parts department. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church) in Warren, and the over 50 club. Celeste enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband John A Caniglia whom she married July 29, 1950, four children Mary Jo (Allen) Braden, Sr. Jo Anne Caniglia, OP, Susan Ellen (James) DiNucci, and John A. (Korinne) Caniglia, Jr., eight grandchildren Lisa Braden and her twin Lori (Kenneth) Van Horn, Kelly(Mark) Himes, Jill, Olivia(Kabir) Moss and Claire DiNucci, Michael and Patrick Caniglia, one great grandchild Bryce Van Horn, two sisters Mary Zador of Warren, and Jeanne DeLucia of Lady Lakes, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Angelo Campana, and a sister Rose LaRock. Family and friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church) in Warren, with Rev. James P. Walker officiating.
